Animation Practice
I’ve always loved animation and it really still is one of my dreams to make a short I can be proud of. But as I had limited resources, I couldn’t really waste all my parent’s bond paper… so with the tablet and Adobe Photoshop CS3, I’m trying to get back into the animation wagon. Here’s a little sample/pencil test I did completely on PSCS3 just for kicks… hopefully I’ll work on more refined stuff in the future. :3 Travel plans seem to be moving on schedule so I should be in Cebu August 20… before the actual work starts, I just wanted to play around a little~

Yey.. first 30 got approved. I will keeping posting them as they come along but for now, these are the first 30 I completed and sent for approval. I will continue to do this in batches of 20. I must say it was quite fun working on these… :3

Yey for first entry.
Welcome to my nook within the internet. There isn’t much going on here yet as you can see, but we (my husband and I) do plan to fix this place up quite a bit when neither of us are busy (and when we can decide on a layout other than the default). You will find my works, my profile, my rants/raves (mostly work-related) all in one place. Hopefully, you’ll come and visit again.
As for what I’m working on now, a few commissions more and I will reopen my sketch sale as it’s a lot more affordable for most people and it’s great practice for speed sketching. My husband sold my old laptop (the one he gave me for Christmas D:). We ordered a Wacom Intuos3 tablet as my Graphire 4 is 4 x 6 and it’s wobbly when doing details. I’m still keeping the Graphire 4 in case I travel at some point/go to Cons and still have work that needs to be done. Speaking of Cons, I really want to go to one with my husband this year (neither of us has ever been to one).. there is one up in St. Augustine sometime in October I want to check out since it’s the closest… with the cost of gas now, yeah… beggars can’t be choosers. I might try to get a table in artist’s alley and/or one at the dealers but if not, I’ll just go there for a day probably. Lots of goals to meet, financially (going to my homeland or New York for Christmas depending on my parents’ plans).. and I’m hoping if I do the artist alley/dealer at the con, it’ll help getting there.
And I guess that’s it for now. I have to wake my husband up in a bit.
